Poem 6

letter to Insomia

Dear insomina

How long has it been?

My gratitude for that…

and for this unexpected visit.

Lying in the bed my focus travels beyond

the border of the curtains

to a slide of darkness.

You conspired with the night

to offer me a wild horse to tame,

to gallop around the turbulent waters

of my mind’s lake.

Graspable answers flowing in the field

where the doors of life’s paths

open as my steps aproach

to enter to a space without gravity,

and without judgement I go.

From the darkness, clarity comes

as old scenes of life appear to calm the

waters, to mutate and reglect

the sky, the forest and myself.

Just one conscient, restless night

and a grand leap in my life’s story,

insomia your open, again, the portals

to listen the whispers of the cosmos.

Can we meet again?
