Poem 5

Silence

Silence I have searching for you.

we were one, once.

You have your on sound and color.

Now with you,

without the noise of the world,

there is no emotional dopamine

buttons to push, to get me,

away from me.

And now with you,

that drowning noise invading

my space have ceased.

But also, I too carry

noise within me.

I want to remember now

how it feels to embrace,

that other side, transcending

words in the space

between my thoughts.

Now with you

where eternity collapse

into an instant,

the echoes of my mind

access inspiration by mer will.

Like a dormant seed beneath

winter soil

my world awakes

to stay still letting

my presence be enough.
